The palette (1) has a water-proof paint palette housing (2) with a water stop edge (7), and microporous openporous foam (3) with integrated color receiving troughs (4, 6) and alternative finger passages. Waterproof openings are centrally provided for color mixing purposes. Microporous openporous foam pillows are placed in the openings. The foam and the foam pillows are applied with undetachable microporous fleece. The foam and the openings are permeable and non-permeable to the pigments. The foam and the foam pillows are water-storingly and water-releasingly designed.
