Provided by the present invention is a vehicle warning light guide method through the image recognition of a smartphone camera, which recognizes an image of warning light by photographing the warning light using the smartphone camera and notifies a driver of a content and a necessary corrective measure of the corresponding warning light in a way of comparing the image of the recognized warning light with a warning light database which is updated from a server in real time. For the forementioned purposes, the vehicle warning light guide method through the image recognition of a smartphone camera according to the present invention includes the following steps of: executing a warning light guide program which is installed in the smartphone when warning light is turned on; photographing the warning light by using the smartphone camera; searching a warning light image which has a highest point of convergence with the warning light image of the database by matching the photographed warning light image with the warning light image of the warning light database stored in a memory; and displaying the content and maintenance urgency of the warning light which has the point of convergence in the previous step on the smartphone. The present invention is able to notify a driver of a content and a necessary corrective measure of warning light when a vehicle is driven.
