PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring control method for making a power adjustment amount required by the operation side easy to achieve without performing specific negotiation or agreement with the user side.SOLUTION: A monitoring control method according to an embodiment with respect to a monitoring control device, which comprises a communication unit for performing external communication and an operation processing unit for performing operation processing and maintains demand-and-supply balance of a power system, makes the operation processing unit implement: total request amount acquisition processing for acquiring a total request amount of demand response for a target area; request amount determination processing which extracts data whose total value of response achievements of past responses by a user is closest to the total request amount from a demand response information database when the total request amount is acquired by the total request amount acquisition processing, and determines a request amount to each group in the target area from the data; request amount output processing for outputting the request amount to each group through the communication unit; and response achievement acquisition processing for acquiring a response achievement of each group to the request amount through the communication unit. |
