PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which, when displaying plural images on one screen, is capable of properly displaying all the images.SOLUTION: The processing apparatus comprises: an image system detection unit which detects image systems relating to the respective image signals of the images to be displayed simultaneously on one screen; an interpolation unit which subjects the respective image signals to execution of interpolation suitable for the image systems relating to the respective image signals detected by the image system detection unit, thereby changing the image signals to those with higher frequency; and a signal generation unit which generates image signals to be displayed simultaneously on one screen, using the image signals obtained by interpolating the respective image signals by the interpolation unit. |
