The present invention relating to a temperature compensation system of an RF antenna for hi-pass, installed at a hi-pass terminal mounted on a vehicle going into and out of a crossroad and installed at a roadside base station performing a high speed data communication, comprises: a housing sealing an inner part; a wireless communication device installed within the housing and including an RF antenna transmitting and receiving wireless frequencies to or from the hi-pass terminal; and a control device installed within the housing for transmitting and receiving wireless data signals via an interface to and from the wireless communication device and controlling operation of the base station. The wireless communication device includes: a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the RF antenna; and at least one thermoelectric element installed at an opening of the housing. The control device receives a detected temperature signal from the temperature sensor, compares the detected temperature signal with a preset upper limit critical temperature and lower limit critical temperature, and determines a cooling operation or a heating operation of the thermoelectric element. Therefore, the present invention, if the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is deviated from the upper limit critical temperature or the lower limit critical temperature, performs the cooling operation or the heating operation using the thermoelectric element, maintains the temperature within the roadside base station, and regulates an RF communication region of the RF antenna, thereby remarkably reducing the error rate of communication with the hi-pass terminal.
