The present invention relates to an inspection system for maintenance of railway facilities using images and more particularly, to an inspection system for maintenance of railway facilities, which calculates a position by processing images photographed by a camera without installing a position sensing device in a car to be repaired, whereby installation costs can be reduced and a more accurate position can be obtained. The inspection system for maintenance of railway facilities is characterized by comprising: a car main body; an absolute position reading camera installed in the front part of the car main body to photograph an absolute position display device installed in a trackside; a facility inspecting camera installed in the front part of the car main body to photograph facilities; an image processing device which is installed inside the car main body to receive images from the absolute position reading camera and the facility inspecting camera and processes the images; and a data storing device storing the information processed by the image processing device.
