The audio encoding device (10) further includes a converter, which introduces temporary aliasing (14) for converting overlapping prediction-domain frames into the frequency domain to obtain prediction-domain frame spectra, where the converter which introduces temporary aliasing (14) is designed to convert overlapping prediction-domain frames by critical sampling.
