The invention is designed to provide security measures to existing junction boxes or fixed-location boxes. The device is an insert adapted to fit laterally within the walls of the containing boxes. The security bar includes a plurality of adjustable feet and the corresponding plurality of adjustable top bolts pressing thereto on pivoting plate(s) to engage an outward motion towards the inner walls of the containing box securing the security bar in place inside the containing box. The existing containing box top is then secured onto the security bar(s) via security bolt(s) allowing the containing box lid to stay in place even in the event of tampering. The security bar can also provide added security to all containers and boxes alike. |
