PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain normal fitting state even of a connector considered to be used in the oil.SOLUTION: A female connector 11 includes a connector housing 13 in which a plurality of terminal housing chambers 18, each housing a plurality of terminal fittings, are arranged in parallel, a lock arm 12 cantilevered by the connector housing 13 along the outer wall thereof and formed to be able to deform resiliently, and an engaging protrusion 20 protruding outward of the connector housing 13 from the lock arm 12. When fitting the connector 11 in a mating connector 22, the connector 11 and the mating connector 22 are connected electrically, and normal fitting state is maintained when the engaging protrusion 20 of the lock arm 12 engages with the engagement receiving portion 25b of the mating connector 22. A rubber packing 17 is mounted around the connector housing 13 so as to embrace the outer periphery thereof. |
