PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head light for a vehicle that illuminates a wider area than conventional arts by using a light source in which a plurality of LED chips are arrayed along a direction orthogonal to a front-back direction.SOLUTION: A head light 1 for a vehicle includes a first lamp unit 2 including: a first light source 21 having a plurality of LED chips 210, ..., arrayed substantially along a right-left direction; and a first reflection surface 22a reflecting light emitted from the first light source 21 forward. The first reflection surface 22a is based on a rotation parabolic surface S having a reference focus F in the vicinity of the first light source 21, and the shape of the rotation parabolic surface S at each cross section passing through a rotation center axis Ax is a surface formed so as to gradually approach the first light source 21 from the rotation parabolic surface S as heading to both ends. |
