PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map information updating device and a map information updating execution method capable of rapidly and smoothly updating map information to be distributed via the Internet and the like with simple procedures on the basis of posted information from a user terminal and a portable telephone when updating map information stored in a map data server.SOLUTION: Since map information is updated based on updated information and posted information to be provided from users with respect to existing map information, map information can be rapidly and smoothly updated with simple procedures on the basis of posted information from a user side, and also accuracy to determine authenticity with respect to posted information is improved from a viewpoint of statistics. Besides, propagation and advertisement elements are obtained in the provision of posted information by users, so that a map information updating device and a map information updating execution method can be powerful means to induce posted information from users. |
