The torsional vibration damper (10) has the cover disc portions (16,18) that are arranged in an axially spacing between each other by a retaining spacer (34). A hub disc (12) with an opening (40), is rotatably equipped between the cover disc portions. The opening (36) of one cover disc portion is displaced with respect to the opening (38) in another cover disc portion to each other in the circumferential direction. The mounting portions are formed in the cover disc portions.
