Disclosed is a battery pack, an energy storage system having a battery pack and a method for cell balancing of the battery pack which includes the steps of: measuring a voltage of each of the plurality of battery cells in the battery pack, selecting one among the plurality of battery cells as a battery cell subject for cell balancing based on the measured voltages, selecting one among the plurality of resistors as a resistor on which cell balancing is performed, and outputting the voltage of the battery cell subject for cell balancing from a multiplexer, which receives the voltage of each of the plurality of battery cells, to the resistor on which cell balancing is performed.
