The present invention relates to a rear air conditioner for a vehicle. More specifically, left and right vents (face vents) respectively formed at left and right walls, which support a rotation shaft of a mode door, and a floor vent formed at one wall disposed in a direction vertical to the rotation shaft of the mode door are opened or closed by a single mode door (rotary door) in a discharge housing, thereby achieving the compactness of the air conditioner and the reduction of constituent parts, and the inside space of the rotary door can be utilized as a mixing space of cold air and warm air. Further, a bypass passage part is formed at one side of the discharge housing so as to communicate the air discharged through the left vent and the air discharged through the right vent with each other, thereby improving the mixing efficiency of the airs respectively discharged through the left and right vents, reducing the temperature difference between airs respectively discharged to left and right sides inside the vehicle, and improving the airflow and temperature characteristics. |
