PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply system capable of achieving energy saving.SOLUTION: A hot water supply system 1 includes: a hot water storage tank 25 which stores water to be used for hot water supply; a heat pump type water heater 26 which raises the temperature of the water in the hot water storage tank 25; a solar heat pump 21 which raises the temperature of makeup water to be replenished in the hot water storage tank 25; and a buffer tank 22 which temporarily stores the makeup water. The buffer tank 22 is connected to the lower part of the hot water storage tank 25. Makeup water from a water source is converged with the makeup water in the buffer tank 22 and poured into a heat exchange part of the solar heat pump 21 to raise the temperature. At this time, an aperture of a valve 45 installed in a piping 16 is proportionally controlled according to a quantity of the water flowing through the heat exchange part of the solar heat pump 21 so as to secure a constant quantity of the water flowing through the heat exchange part of the solar heat pump 21. |
