PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional display device which allows a point of view position to be moved not only in lateral directions but in front-back directions with respect to a display panel and thereby which can broaden a visible range for a three-dimensional image.SOLUTION: The three-dimensional display device uses a three-dimensional display panel 10 comprising a display element that simultaneously displays parallax images for a right eye and a left eye and a liquid crystal lens mounted on the display element and controlling directions of light exiting from the display element. The three-dimensional display device includes observer position detecting means 40, 50 for detecting a position of an observer and liquid crystal lens drive means 60 for driving the liquid crystal lens. The liquid crystal lens drive means 60 changes pitches of voltage patterns to be applied to a plurality of electrodes of the liquid crystal lens in accordance with the position in a front-back direction of the observer detected by the observer position detecting means.
