PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point-of-sale information management system having a room entering/leaving control function and a room entering/leaving control method using the point-of-sale information management system.SOLUTION: There is provided a point-of-sale information management system having a room entering/leaving control function and a room entering/leaving control method using the point-of-sale information management system. The point-of-sale information management system includes: an input unit for converting an input into an input signal; an identification unit for identifying the input signal as a status information or merchandise information; a storage unit for storing a status database; an authentication unit for authenticating the status information on the basis of the status database, and for, when authentication is successful, outputting an unlocking signal, and for, when the authentication is not successful, outputting a transaction signal; a settlement unit for, after receiving the transaction signal, executing settlement transaction on the basis of the merchandise information; and a control unit for controlling an unlocking unit to unlock a door in accordance with the unlocking signal. |
