A POLLISHING APPARATUS FOR PIPES

The present invention relates to a polishing device for removing rust or foreign materials formed on outer surface of pipes. More specifically, the present invention comprises: a portable grinder; a body part; a first spur gear; a second spur gear; and a polishing ring gear member. The portable grinder comprises: a housing; a gripping part formed in one side of the housing to enable a user to grip; and a power transmission shaft penetrated through the underside of the other side of the housing. The body part comprises: a spacing part capable of enabling the power transmission shaft to penetrate and attached to the underside of the housing; and a connection body coupled to the underside of the spacing member and having a gear storage space inside thereof. The first spur gear is formed inside the connection body and is coupled to the other side of the power transmission shaft which penetrates the spacing member to integrally rotate with the power transmission shaft. The second spur gear is coupled to the one side of the inside of the connection body and is gear-coupled to the first spur gear to receive the rotation force of the first spur gear. The polishing ring gear member is a ring body and is formed in one side of the inside of the connection body to gear-couple to the second spur gear. In the present invention, pipes are in contact with the inner surface of the polishing ring gear member so that foreign materials formed of the surface of the pipes can be polished by the rotation of the polishing ring gear member. According to the present invention, the user can efficiently process the surface of the pipes even in a narrow space while gripping the portable grinder because the polishing device is installed in the portable grinder. Also, the present invention can obtain excellent workability because the polishing ring gear member uniformly processes the surface of the pipes using the rotation force of the portable grinder.
