PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting device in which game balls can be lifted satisfactorily and continuously even when ball clogging occurs.SOLUTION: A lifting device 8 comprises a conveyer belt 10 which is rotatable upwards and downwards so as to convey a game ball from a lower position P1 to an upper position P2, and an upper channel 11 which extends from the upper position P2 and in which the game ball conveyed to the upper position P2 by the conveyer belt 10 can flow down. The lifting device 8 also comprises a first conveying channel α in which the game ball conveyed from the lower position P1 to the upper position P2 by the conveyer belt 10 flows down along the upper channel 11, and a second conveying channel &bgr; in which the game ball conveyed from the lower position P1 to the upper position P2 by the conveyer belt 10 returns to the lower position P2, and switching means 15 is provided for switching a conveying channel for game balls in a ball clogged state from the first conveying channel α to the second conveying channel &bgr;. |
