PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure moisture-proof property with a simple configuration and to reduce production costs.SOLUTION: A permeability detection device for a washing machine includes: a light emitting element 1a and a light receiving element 1b which detect fouling of a liquid and which are arranged to face with each other via a water distribution pipe 10; a printed wiring board 2 mounted with the light emitting element 1a or the light receiving element 1b; and a case 3 which has a recess part 16 housing the printed wiring board 2 and engaged with a lens part 15 of the light emitting element 1a or the light receiving element 1b. A gap between the light emitting element 1a or the light receiving element 1b and the printed wiring board 2 is made to be equal to or less than a prescribed value, and a soldering face 19 side of the printed wiring board 2 is sealed with a sealant 4; thereby, a permeability detection device for a washing machine can be acquired in which moisture-proof property is secured with a simple configuration and production costs are reduced. |
