PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas separation apparatus capable of maintaining a concentration and a generation rate of product gas without stopping a whole apparatus, even when a certain compressor breaks down out of a plurality of mounted compressors.SOLUTION: A gas separation apparatus includes: a plurality of compressors for compressing air; an adsorption tank which is filled with adsorbent inside and which separates one gas out of compressed air supplied from the compressors to make product gas of the other gases; and a controlling unit for controlling operation of the plurality of compressors. The controlling unit stops at least one compressor out of the plurality of compressors, for backup. |
