PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem associated with a system including two or more slave devices connected to a single master apparatus, where PTP packets transmitted from the slave devices to the master apparatus are respectively transmitted with respective timings of individual slave devices to the master apparatus regardless of statuses in the master apparatus and other slave devices or in traffic, causing the possibility of congestion in processing due to concentration of packets to increase with increase in the number of connected slave devices and a loss of packets necessary for clock-time synchronization between the master apparatus and the slave devices, further causing a loss of clock-time information that is to be transmitted and deterioration in the accuracy of the clock-time synchronization.SOLUTION: The slave device adjusts timing of transmitting a PTP packet to a master apparatus, preventing congestion in processing due to concentration of PTP packets transmitted from two or more connected slave devices and maintaining accuracy of clock-time synchronization. |
