PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an evacuation device of a rail vehicle.SOLUTION: An evacuation device 200 to be installed at a vehicle comprises: a transfer inhibition unit 300 that functions as a brake unit; and a hoist 400. At the time of evacuation, the evacuation device 200 is transferred on a floor 14 from a storage place and a chute 260 is spread to a ground via a suspending arm 31 of SlowDown (a slowly descending machine) in order to evacuate passengers. The chute 260 is hoisted up by the hoist 400 via a wire 401 and is stored in the evacuation device 200.
