PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportation method of caustic lime by which dust emission of the caustic lime can be prevented when a sintering raw material and the caustic lime are transported by an identical belt conveyor, and to provide storage tank equipment used for the transportation method.SOLUTION: The transportation method of caustic lime is provided in which a sintering raw material M containing moisture of at least 4 mass% and at most 12 mass% and caustic lime C are transported by an identical belt conveyor 10 and charged into a mixer. In the method, the caustic lime C is dropped on the belt conveyor 10, then the sintering raw material M is dropped and the caustic lime C is covered with the sintering raw material M. Thereby, a rising airflow by evaporation of moisture in the sintering raw material M is suppressed by the sintering raw material M, and dispersion of the caustic lime C resulting from the rising airflow can be prevented. |
