PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve opening/closing timing control device allowing a relative rotation phase of a drive side rotary member and a driven side rotary member to quickly reach a lock phase when starting an engine.SOLUTION: A valve opening/closing timing control device 100 includes: an external rotor 1 rotating synchronizing with a crankshaft 110 of an engine 200; an internal rotor 3 which is disposed coaxially with the external rotor 1 and relatively rotatably to the external rotor 1 and rotates together with a cam shaft 2 opening/closing an intake valve 21; and a lock mechanism 6 locking a relative rotation phase of the external rotor 1 and the internal rotor 3 in a lock phase. The relative rotation phase of the external rotor 1 and the internal rotor 3 is stepwise regulated from the most retarded angle phase up to the lock phase. Of each relative rotation amount from first relative rotation amount to final relative rotation amount, relative rotation amount other than final relative rotation amount is set to be the smallest. |
