PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formation method of a cell aggregate capable of preventing occurrence of dust in fine recess and protrusion formation on a film surface of a polyimide or the like.SOLUTION: A formation method of a cell aggregate has the steps of: (a1) irradiating a film having, as a main component, a polyimide or a precursor thereof represented by the formula (1) with polarized ultraviolet rays; (a2) inoculating a cell on the surface of the film irradiated with polarized ultraviolet rays; and (a3) forming a cell aggregate by incubation of the inoculated cell.
