PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and easily confirm a neutral state without requiring highly accurate locating.SOLUTION: A rotary connector device is formed with at least four flat cables 5 arranged in a housing space 4 between an outer case 2 and an inner case 3, each reversed at an inversion section 5r of an intermediate part and wound in an opposite direction in the outer case 2 and the inner case 3. The rotary connector device comprises a visual inspection window 35 opened and formed in the outer case 2 or the inner case 3, and disposed at a position where the inversion section 5r is visible in a neutral state from outside of the housing space 4; and a locating mark 7 for locating the inner case 3 at a rotational position which can be at a neutral state. The inverse sections 5r of flat cables 5 are provided at equal intervals in a circumferential direction of the housing space 4, while an inverse section 51r is provided at a position overlapped with the visual inspection window 35 in the neutral state, and a flat cables 51 having the inverse section 51r overlapped with the visual inspection window 35 in the neutral state has a different color to the other flat cables 5. |
