PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder which can hold various articles of different width with the proper retention.SOLUTION: A holder 1 holds an article B between both holding pieces 2a, 11a by sliding holding mechanism 10 for a back plate 2. The holding mechanism 10 includes a first slide member 11, provided slidably in the horizontal direction with respect to the back plate 2, and having a movable holding piece 11a, a second slide member 12 provided slidably in the horizontal direction with respect to the first slide member 11, and first biasing means 13 for biasing the second slide member 12 with respect to the first slide member 11, so that an operation part 12a at one end of the second slide member 12 projects outward from the first slide member 11. Between the back plate 2 and the second slide member 12, one-way means 20 for allowing movement of the second slide member 12 to the holding side of the article B, but prohibiting movement to the opposite side is provided, and cancellation means 30 for cancelling prohibition of movement by the one-way means 20 is provided. |
