Disclosed are a liquid crystal panel and a production method therefor. The liquid crystal panel (20) comprises an upper substrate (202), a lower substrate (204), and a sealant (206), wherein the lower substrate (204) comprises a display area (304), a non-display area (308), a first restriction assembly (208) and a second restriction assembly (210); the non-display area (308) is adjacent to the display area (304) and the sealant (206) is arranged on the non-display area (308); the first restriction assembly (208) is located at the edge of the non-display area (308) and raised; and the second restriction assembly (210) is located between the display area (304) and the first restriction assembly (208) and recessed. By means of the combination of the first restriction assembly (208) and the second restriction assembly (210), an alignment film (2044) is not able to diffuse to the non-display area (308) when the lower substrate (204) is coated with the alignment film (2044).
