The present invention relates to metal hollow fiber filter media and a manufacturing method thereof, more specifically to metal hollow fiber filter media and a manufacturing method thereof, which can provide economical metal hollow fiber filter media with improved uniformity and abrasion-resistance by using a little amount of expensive transition metal. The metal hollow fiber filter media can be used in industrial fields broadly by having a high charging density per unit volume; the porosity and average openings thereof are easy to control; and the bending and cutting phenomena of the precursor of the metal hollow fiber can be prevented, which can happen after free spinning or winding around a bobbin during manufacture of the metal hollow fiber filter media, hence, defective products can be minimized.
