An exercise equipment controlling system using NFC and a method of the same are provided. The exercise equipment controlling method according to an embodiment of the present invention sets an exercise environment of the exercise equipment by delivering the exercise environment to the exercise equipment via a short-distance wireless communication using a mobile terminal of a user.
