PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission apparatus and power transmission system having the same, capable of suppressing a temperature rise of a power reception apparatus during power transmission.SOLUTION: A transmission apparatus 1 transmits electric power from a transmission section 23 to a power reception section 40 of a power reception apparatus 5 by an electric field coupling system. The transmission apparatus 1 includes a power supply section 2 that has an inverter 12b for converting an input DC voltage into an AC voltage; and a connector 3 that has a transmission section 23 to which an AC voltage output from the power supply section 2 is applied. The power supply section 2 and the connector 3 are separated from each other in construction, and the power supply section 2 and the connector 3 are connected with each other through a cable 4. |
