PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mount for an electric motor which can reduce noise that is generated by the motor.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a mount for an electric motor. The mount comprises a sleeve (4) for receiving an electric motor (16), the sleeve (4) including a plurality of elements (20) projecting from a surface of the sleeve (4), where the plurality of elements (20) include a vertex (24). The elements (20) may be conical, or pyramidal with a polygonal base. The vertex (24) angle is between 20 and 170 degrees. Preferably, the plurality of elements (20) are provided solely on a radially outer surface (22) of the sleeve (4). Preferably, a radially inner surface (23) of the sleeve (4) is smooth. |
