PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous decision on an unlocked state in a case a magnetic detection sensor has failed to be oversensitive.SOLUTION: Included in an electric steering lock are a lock member that can be moved between a locked position, at which the lock member suppresses rotation of a steering shaft, and an unlocked position at which the lock member permits the rotation of the steering shaft, a first magnet disposed on the lock member, a magnetic detection sensor located at a position at which the magnetic detection sensor is opposed to the first magnet when the lock member is located at the unlocked position, and a second magnet that is disposed on the lock member, that, when the lock member is located at the locked position or unlocked position, is not opposed to the magnetic detection sensor, and that, when the lock member is located between the locked position and unlocked position, is opposed to the magnetic detection sensor. |
