PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the variation of stop potions of patterns between reels in a slot machine provided with a vibration stop mode.SOLUTION: A slot machine comprises reel control means for exerting control which rotates reels by outputting a drive pulse signal to stepping motors connecting to the rotation axes of the reels and stops the reels by outputting an excitation stop signal to the stepping motors. The slot machine has: a normal stop mode (first stop mode) in which when a stop button is operated for a rotating reel, the reel is stopped by a total phase excitation stop signal for exciting all excitation phases which the stepping motor of the reel has; and a vibration stop mode (second stop mode) for stopping the reel by a partially-not-excited stop signal which does not excite some excitation phases. When an operation performance is executed for reels in the vibration stop mode, an excitation pattern of the partially-not-excited stop signal is selected in accordance with the phase state of the drive pulse signal at the rotation reference position of reels. |
