PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food storage cabinet devised to manage a large amount of foods so as to not allow the food to exceed a good-to-use (or consume-by) date in a situation where there are demands for storing foods to serve for an extended period of time preparing for a disaster occurrence.SOLUTION: A food storage cabinet is devised to include twelve or more sections, with by-month display for January to December attached to a front of the sections, enabling at-a-glance comprehension of a month as to when a good-to-use (or consume-by) date arrives. Individual preserved foods bought with a little excess amount in a daily shopping are placed respectively in target-month sections with reference to the good-to-use (or consume-by) date specified for each food. During normal days with no occurrence of disaster, a food item that is stored in an applicable section is consumed as part of daily meals within the month of year of the good-to-use (or consume-by) date. Thus, it is devised to secure a large amount of foods stored in at least eleven sections, without exceeding good-to-use (or consume-by) dates, preparing for occurrence of a disaster. |
