PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for improving reliability of a storage battery in a power controller.SOLUTION: A power control unit 21 controls charge/discharge of a storage battery 12 in a power generation system 1. The power control unit 21 comprises: a prediction unit 24 for successively acquiring prediction values of generated power and load power calculated on the basis of a generated power prediction method and load power prediction method; a determination unit 25 for determining magnitude relation at a prediction target time point between the prediction value of the generated power and the prediction value of the load power acquired by the prediction unit 24; a storage unit 26 for storing the determination result of the determination unit 25 as a history in association with the prediction target time point; and a charge/discharge control unit 23 for controlling charge/discharge of the storage battery 12 on the basis of at least either one of a ratio of predicting that the storage battery 12 is in a state-of-charge and a ratio of predicting that the storage battery 12 is in a state-of-discharge from a plurality of histories of the determination results in a T(bar). |
