The safety clutch has a clutch section (1), and another clutch section (2) connected with the former clutch section through a spring-loaded actuator body (3) for transmitting torque. An activating device is provided with a control disk (10), which is rotatably arranged between the clutch sections. The control disk is connected with a pressure disk (14) and is held on the latter clutch section by a holding device. The holding device is designed as a magnet assembly with a magnet (25,26) arranged in the control disk or in the latter clutch section.
