The objective of the present invention is to provide a method for generating energy of a vessel for obtaining eco-friendly and high energy efficiency. To achieve the above-mentioned objective, the present invention provides the method for generating energy of a vessel using a piezoelectric element, characterized by installing a piezoelectric element on a vessel body surface from an upper part of a propeller of a vessel to a draft and by converting a mechanical movement generated by rotation of the propeller to electric energy of high efficiency using the piezoelectric element. According to the present invention, energy of the vessel may be generated to have high efficiency regardless of conditions, differently from wind power or sunlight which has efficiency varying depending on conditions, and may be used as a power source. Therefore, the vessel reduces load of a generator while sailing, thereby saving fuel costs, reducing discharging gas and obtaining two effects of eco-friendly and high energy efficiency at the same time.
