An image analysis unit (12) of an input device (1) analyzes an image that has been acquired by an image acquisition unit (11), and extracts an image region of a part of the user's body. A coordinates extraction unit (13) extracts the coordinates of a feature point of the part of the body from the image region of the part of the body, and generates body motion information (200d) indicating the trajectory of the motion of the part of the body. A body motion determination unit (15), upon having determined, on the basis of the body motion information (200d), that a prescribed body motion has occurred, detects the coordinates at the center of the shape of the trajectory of the prescribed body motion. A start coordinates detection unit (16) detects the start coordinates of the prescribed body motion on the basis of the body motion information (200d). A command generation unit (17), on the basis of the center coordinates point and the start coordinates point, generates command information (100a) describing a command, and sends the generated command information (100a) to an applicable apparatus (100). |
