PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device and an electric pump unit which can suppress heat generation and noise to the minimum by suppressing excessive output, and which do not need to add a hydraulic sensor for suppression of excessive output.SOLUTION: An excessive output suppression control means 32 includes: a hydraulic pressure estimation unit 34 in which a hydraulic pressure estimation map is set; and a current command value correction quantity calculation unit 35 which compares a target hydraulic pressure and an estimation hydraulic pressure and outputs a reduction amount of the current command value. A plurality of hydraulic pressure estimation maps are set corresponding to a plurality of oil temperature zones. During idling stop, if oil temperature information is in a high temperature zone, control is performed based on an electric pump output characteristic G for a high temperature zone, and if the oil temperature information is in the middle temperature zone, the control is performed based on an electric pump output characteristic H for a middle temperature zone. After the idling stop, when the oil temperature information changes from the high temperature zone to the middle temperature zone, the control is performed based on the electric pump output characteristic G for a high temperature zone. |
