PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for determining an appropriate execution timing of correction processing in a printing apparatus having a power-saving mode.SOLUTION: A printer has a power supply mode and a power-saving mode that differ in a power supply state. When a shifting condition from the power supply mode to the power-saving mode is satisfied, the printer shifts, if a first execution condition that does not change even via the power-saving mode is satisfied as an execution condition of correction processing, to the power-saving mode after performing the correction processing. On the other hand, the printer shifts, if a second execution condition that changes via the power-saving mode is satisfied and the first execution condition is not satisfied, to the power-saving mode without performing the correction processing. |
