PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic solution for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having heat resistance capable of withstanding reflow soldering and keeping discharge capacity even in a low-temperature environment, and to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery.SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes: an electrolytic solution 50 containing a solute, a solvent containing polyethylene glycol dialkyl ether and ethylene glycol dialkyl ether, and ethylene glycol monoethyl ether; a positive electrode 12; a negative electrode 26; and a separator 30 made of glass fibers and placed between the positive electrode 12 and the negative electrode 26.
