<p>An elevator car ceiling device, wherein a safety switch (20) is provided on an edge of an emergency exit (15a) in a ceiling cover body (15). A locking member (18), capable of rotating between a locked position, locking the emergency exit cover (16) in a fully closed position, and an unlocked position, releasing the lock, is provided in the emergency exit cover (16). The locking member (18) comprises a switch engaging portion (18a) for engaging the safety switch (20) when in the locked position. The safety switch (20) contact is opened by releasing the engagement of the switch engaging portion (18a) with the safety switch (20).</p> |
