PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element having improved internal quantum efficiency by blocking departure of electrons and improving hole injection efficiency simultaneously.SOLUTION: A light emitting element 100A includes a first conductivity type semiconductor layer 120, a second conductivity type semiconductor layer 150, and an active layer 122 interposed between the first conductivity type semiconductor layer and the second conductivity type semiconductor layer. The second conductivity type semiconductor layer includes an electron blocking region 130 disposed closely to the active layer and comprising a plurality of patterns apart from each other. |
