PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus easy to use.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus for performing communication with an external device includes: a first communication unit which pairs with an external device through communication performed via a user's body or short-range communication; a first sensor for detecting the orientation of the electronic apparatus in relation to pairing; a second communication unit distinct from the first communication unit; a first control unit for controlling switching between the first communication unit and the second communication unit; and an operation unit for performing an operation on the external device. The first sensor detects information related to the orientation of the user's body during operation of the operation unit.
