PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device and a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device for improving a manufacturing yield.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a display section 6 including display pixels PX arranged in a matrix; a pair of substrates 3, 4 disposed to oppose to each other; a sealing member 15, which is disposed between the pair of substrates 3, 4, and extended from one end to the other end of the pair of substrates 3, 4 along a direction substantially parallel to the direction of rows where the display pixels PX are arrayed and along a direction substantially parallel to the direction of columns in the pixel array, and which encloses the display section 6; and a liquid crystal layer 5 held in a region enclosed by the sealing member 15 between the pair of the substrates 3, 4. |
