PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a promotor material for purifying automobile exhaust gas capable of improving a utilization factor of cerium in comparison with the hitherto, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A ceria-zirconia material 16 with a sample name of CZ-25, CZ-09 having a Ce utilization factor at 800°C of 91-97% is improved in comparison with, for example, a conventional ceria-zirconia material 16 with a sample name of CZ-120, CZ-100, CZ-50 having a core-shell structure, or a ceria-zirconia material 16 of a uniform solid-solution with a sample name of CZs in which ceria and zirconia are uniformly solid-dissolved. |
