[Problem] To improve output while reducing cogging torque and torque ripple in a balanced manner in a magnet-assisted reluctance motor. [Solution] A rotor (3) is used in a magnet-assisted reluctance motor which rotates the rotor using reluctance torque and magnetic torque. The rotor (3) is equipped with cross-sectionally arc-shaped S-pole magnets (26s) and N-pole magnets (26n). Three of each pole of the magnets (26s, 26n) are provided so as to be embedded inside the rotor (3) in a state where the projecting sides thereof face the rotor center (Or). Each of the distances (Rs, Rn) between the centers (Os, On) of the arcs of the S- and N-pole magnets (26n, 26s) and the center (Or) of the rotor (3) are different (Rs≠Rn), and the ratio of Rs to Rn is 0.92 (Rs/Rn=0.92). The outer circumferential sections (41) of the innermost layer of S-pole magnets (26s) are positioned so as to extend from the pole zones (S1, S2) to the adjacent pole zones (N1, N2). |
