1,176,394. Exposure meters. NIPPON KOGAKU K. K. May 4, 1967 [May 7, 1966], No.20840/67. Heading G2A. A photo-electric exposure meter for carrying out wide and narrow view photometric measurements includes a plurality of photo-sensitive resistors defining a surface for receiving an image of the scene. A switch SW connects all the resistors in circuit in one position, corresponding to a wide view, and in another position only those resistors in a selected area of the image receiving surface, the value of the resistance connected in circuit being approximately the same in each case. The meter may be included in a single lens reflex camera Fig. 1 (not shown) such that a photoconductive cell (R) composed of separate resistors receives light through the camera objective. Terminals a, b, c, and d, Fig. 4, are connected to the respective resistors. A view-finder may be marked with the view substantially coinciding with the portion of the light receiving surfaces. |
